EaseMyTrip Expands into Global Hospitality and Infrastructure with Strategic Acquisitions

EaseMyTrip, one of India’s leading online travel platforms, has announced its in-principle approval to make strategic investments in the hospitality and infrastructure sectors, marking a significant step in its diversification journey. The company will acquire assets both internationally and domestically through a share swap arrangement, reinforcing its vision to build a holistic travel and lifestyle ecosystem.

As part of this expansion, EaseMyTrip will officially enter the global hospitality market with its investment in the Three Falcons Hotel, a luxury boutique property located in the prestigious St John’s Wood area of London, near the iconic Lord’s cricket stadium. Positioned to attract both leisure and business travelers, the property strengthens EaseMyTrip’s footprint in one of the world’s most competitive tourism hubs. This move comes at a time when the global hospitality sector valued at USD 5.71 trillion is projected to grow to USD 7.23 trillion by 2029, signaling immense potential for long-term returns.

On the domestic front, EaseMyTrip is set to acquire AB Finance, the owner of a prime commercial property on Golf Course Road, Gurugram. This asset will serve as a cornerstone for enhancing EaseMyTrip’s operational infrastructure, providing scalability for office expansion and future business requirements. By strengthening its domestic base, the company prepares itself for sustained growth in India’s rapidly evolving travel and service ecosystem.

Adding further diversity, EaseMyTrip also plans to invest in VBIL, a company engaged in entertainment and real estate activities, aligning with EaseMyTrip’s objective to explore synergistic opportunities beyond its traditional travel business while maintaining strategic relevance.

Nishant Pitti, Chairman & Founder of EaseMyTrip, said: “Our growth approach is centered on long-term strategies and brand-aligned diversification. The London acquisition allows us to tap into global hospitality synergies, while the Gurugram property strengthens our operational backbone. These strategic moves are aimed at enhancing customer experiences and creating long-term value.”

With these acquisitions, EaseMyTrip is broadening its portfolio across carefully chosen industries that complement its travel operations. By investing in hospitality, infrastructure, and allied sectors, the company aims to create a comprehensive, experience-driven ecosystem that deepens customer engagement at every stage of the travel journey, both in India and globally.
