EaseMyTrip Integrates with ChatGPT, Enables AI-Based Travel Search

EaseMyTrip has announced its integration with the ChatGPT platform, becoming India’s first listed online travel company to go live on the ChatGPT app marketplace.

With this integration, travellers can now search for flights and hotels through conversational queries directly within ChatGPT, without switching between multiple websites or applications. Users can simply type their travel requirements in natural language and receive relevant travel options instantly, making the travel planning process more intuitive and efficient.

The company said the integration is part of its broader strategy to adopt artificial intelligence and transform the travel booking experience through conversational interfaces. The move is expected to simplify travel discovery and booking by reducing the time and effort typically required to compare flights, hotels and travel options across platforms.

Commenting on the development, Nishant Pitti, Founder and Chairman of EaseMyTrip, said that artificial intelligence is reshaping how consumers discover and transact online, and this integration marks the beginning of deeper AI adoption across the company’s ecosystem. He added that the company plans to expand AI integration into holiday packages and other travel services in the future, with the aim of building a unified AI-powered travel assistant.

EaseMyTrip, which is listed on the NSE and BSE, offers access to more than 400 airlines and over 2.9 million hotels worldwide, along with train, bus, cab bookings and holiday packages. The company is known for its zero-convenience fee model and has remained profitable since its inception.

Industry observers believe that such AI integrations could significantly change how travellers plan and book trips in the coming years, as conversational interfaces become an increasingly important part of digital commerce and travel planning.
