EBG Group Onboards Mrunal Thakur as Brand Ambassador for Carlton Wellness

EBG Group has announced the onboarding of acclaimed Indian actor Mrunal Thakur as Brand Ambassador for its premium wellness-hospitality platform, Carlton Wellness, marking a key milestone in the group’s ambition to build a credible and regulated wellness ecosystem in India. The partnership will be effective from FY 2025–26.

As part of the association, Mrunal Thakur will feature in Carlton Wellness’s brand films, digital storytelling, experiential wellness campaigns, and flagship property launches, to be rolled out in phases across India.

Commenting on the development, Dr. Irfan Khan, Chairman & Founder, EBG Group, said the association aligns with Carlton Wellness’s philosophy of holistic, preventive, and longevity-focused wellbeing, positioning the brand as an aspirational yet credible wellness offering for the modern Indian consumer.

Carlton Wellness is being developed as a premium, integrated wellness-hospitality platform, spanning wellness resorts, destination retreats, city and hotel-based wellness spas, and wellness-oriented vacation homes. Its model combines Ayurveda, naturopathy, mindfulness, and hydrotherapy, while adapting global wellness standards to Indian lifestyles.

The brand has confirmed flagship retreat and resort projects in Ahmedabad, Indore, and Manipal, with expansion plans across Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Manipal. Looking ahead to 2026, Carlton Wellness plans to expand across Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and NCR, targeting 20–30 new wellness spas, 4–6 destination retreats, and boutique wellness resorts.

Backed by this pipeline, the EBG–Carlton platform is projecting revenues of ₹80–120 crore in FY 2025–26, scaling to ₹180–250 crore in FY 2026–27, with long-term plans to emerge as India’s largest regulated wellness network and explore international expansion into GCC and Southeast Asia.
