Emirates Expands Connectivity with New Interline Agreement with Air Peace, Enhancing Travel Options to Nigeria

Emirates has signed a new interline agreement with Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, significantly improving travel connectivity between Dubai and Nigeria. This partnership allows Emirates to expand its footprint to 13 additional cities in Nigeria, offering passengers seamless, single-ticket travel and simplified baggage processing.

Travellers flying from Dubai to Lagos can now access key Nigerian cities, including Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri, thanks to this enhanced connectivity. The agreement also benefits corporate travellers, providing access to economic hubs across Africa, such as Abuja, Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, and Warri, strengthening the bilateral trade relationship between Nigeria and the UAE.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized that the airline has been a strong supporter of Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation sectors. He highlighted that this partnership with Air Peace further boosts the airline’s network, offering more travel options for leisure, corporate, and family travellers to and from Nigeria.

Oluwatoyin Olajide, Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, echoed these sentiments, describing the partnership as a step toward enhancing global connectivity for Nigerian travellers. The collaboration increases Air Peace’s international reach while providing passengers from Dubai with easy access to major domestic destinations, promoting business, tourism, and trade between the UAE and Nigeria.

The Dubai-Lagos route is operated by Emirates with a Boeing 777-300ER, offering a premium flying experience, including regionally inspired menus, a selection of premium beverages, and more than 6,500 channels of entertainment, including Nigerian movies and content. As one of only two airlines offering First Class service into Lagos, this partnership further elevates the travel experience for Nigerian passengers, combining comfort and privacy with luxury.

Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline, connects domestic and international destinations with a fleet of Airbus 320s, Boeing 737s, Boeing 777s, and other aircraft, ensuring smooth and efficient travel. Through this interline agreement, Emirates and Air Peace are strengthening global connectivity while offering travellers more options and improved travel experiences.
