The Fern Hotels & Resorts, India’s leading environmentally conscious hotel chain, has announced a remarkable start for its latest venture, ‘The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Series by Marriott’, an exclusive brand collaboration with Marriott International. Launched with a vision to merge sustainable hospitality with world-class service standards, the initiative has already attracted more than ten independent hotel owners signing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) within the first month of its debut. Many of these owners are in the process of transitioning their existing properties under the Series by Marriott brand, reflecting strong confidence in the combined brand proposition.
The momentum gained significant visibility during The Fern Day at the Global Design & Development Confluence 2025, co-hosted by Marriott International and Hotelier India, where the brand unveiled its Mock-Up Room. Showcasing modern, eco-friendly design principles, the room captured the attention and praise of hoteliers, developers, and industry experts.
Rajeev Menon, President Asia Pacific (Excluding China), Marriott International, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership, stating, “With most Fern Hotels set to join Marriott’s portfolio, this collaboration reinforces Marriott’s strength, distribution reach, and growth plans in India set to become our third largest market globally. Echoing the growth vision, Rahul Chaudhary, MD & CEO, CG Corp Global and CG Hospitality Holdings, revealed ambitious expansion plans: “Our target is 500 hotels within five years.
