Goa-based regional carrier FLY91 has been announced as the domestic airline partner
for the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), currently underway in
Panaji from 20–28 November 2025. The tie-up connects two Goa-born initiatives
with a common goal of improving accessibility and experiences for travellers.
Through this partnership, FLY91 aims to make the festival more reachable for
delegates, filmmakers, and film enthusiasts travelling from tier-2 and tier-3 cities. The
airline is also engaging visitors with a contest at its kiosk at Inox Panaji, where
participants can click photos, tag the official Instagram handle, and stand a chance to
win flight tickets.
Organised with the support of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the
Entertainment Society of Goa, IFFI draws attendees from across India and abroad.
Strengthened regional air links are expected to boost travel convenience for festival
participants.
FLY91’s network currently covers Goa, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Sindhudurg,
Solapur, Jalgaon, and Agatti, with plans to scale up to 50 destinations within five
years. In its first year, the airline has carried over 1.7 lakh passengers on more than
3,500 flights using its ATR 72-600 fleet.
MD & CEO Manoj Chacko said the partnership reflects FLY91’s commitment to
connecting India through regional connectivity while supporting Goa’s most
prominent cultural showcase.
