FLY91 launches daily Kochi–Agatti service: Pure-play regional airline

FLY91 on Sunday operated its inaugural flight on the Kochi–Agatti sector, launching a new daily service connecting Kerala with the Lakshadweep islands.
The maiden flight was operated using an ATR 72-600 aircraft and marks the airline’s entry into Kochi, strengthening air connectivity between southern India and Lakshadweep. The new route complements FLY91’s existing Goa–Agatti service.
Online bookings for the Kochi–Agatti sector opened last month, with the airline reporting strong initial demand. The service is expected to improve access to Lakshadweep via Kochi, a major domestic and international aviation hub.
With the addition of Kochi, FLY91 expands its footprint in southern India and enhances mainland connectivity for residents and visitors to the islands, supporting essential travel and tourism.
As part of its expansion plans, FLY91 is set to commence operations at Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Hubballi, Dabolim (Goa), Nanded and Indore in the coming months.
