Regional airline FLY91 has announced the launch of direct flights between Goa and Solapur, marking a strategic expansion in its mission to strengthen last-mile air connectivity in underserved areas of India. With this latest addition, FLY91 now connects eight destinations across the country, including four key cities in Maharashtra—Pune, Jalgaon, Sindhudurg, and Solapur.
The new Goa–Solapur route aims to provide a fast, convenient link between Goa’s popular tourism hotspot and Solapur, a significant cultural and industrial hub in southwestern Maharashtra. Known for its rich textile industry and spiritual heritage, Solapur also serves as the gateway to five major pilgrimage sites: Pandharpur, Tuljapur, Akkalkot, Gangapur, and Bhimashankar, all of which attract millions of devotees annually. This new connection is expected to bolster both religious tourism and business travel between the two regions.
“Launching this route reflects FLY91’s core commitment to improving accessibility to vital but traditionally underserved destinations,” said Manoj Chacko, MD and CEO of FLY91. He also acknowledged the support of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Government of Maharashtra in making the expansion possible.
Operating from Goa’s Manohar International Airport, FLY91 continues to prioritize regional growth by offering reliable and efficient air services. The airline’s focus remains on enabling smoother travel experiences and fostering economic development across emerging travel corridors in India. Bookings for the new Goa–Solapur flights are now open.
