Shet Tanavade, Mayem MLA Premendra V. Shet, senior officials from the Department of Tourism and GTDC, local leaders, and community representatives.

Speaking at the event, Shripad Naik said the project would unlock Narve’s cultural potential. “This development will offer a peaceful environment for devotees and promote heritage-driven spiritual tourism in Goa,” he noted.

Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte emphasised that the initiative aligns with Goa’s mission to build meaningful, community-oriented tourism experiences. “The riverfront development at Narve will celebrate local identity and culture while supporting livelihoods and strengthening the rural economy,” he said.

Mayem MLA Premendra Shet highlighted the significance of the upcoming Ghat Aarti, stating that it would “create a unique devotional attraction and open new opportunities for community-based tourism,” benefiting nearby villages and enhancing the region’s cultural profile.
