Tourists can also access real-time updates on events, attractions, and festivals.
Dr. Sawant hailed the platform as a significant step forward for Goa’s tourism sector, stating, “LetsGoa leverages technology to showcase Goa’s rich heritage and natural beauty while ensuring convenience for visitors and locals alike.”
Minister Khaunte added, “This comprehensive platform integrates tourism, technology, and local businesses, empowering tourists with a reliable resource for all their travel needs in Goa.”
According to Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Director of Tourism, the platform connects over 100 hotels, 50+ activity providers, and GTDC residencies, streamlining bookings and promoting Goa’s diverse offerings, including wellness, adventure, and hinterland tourism.
As part of the initiative, the government also launched 75 Free Public WiFi Hotspots, 11 4G BSNL towers to enhance network coverage, and the One Map Goa GIS portal for efficient spatial planning.
With its user-friendly interface and curated recommendations, LetsGoa aims to boost Goa’s local economy while preserving its cultural heritage, making it an indispensable tool for travelers exploring the soul of Goa.
