Goa’s Minister for Tourism, Rohan A. Khaunte, participated in the thrilling experience of white water rafting at Mhadei River, Valpoi recently highlighting the government’s commitment to showcasing the diverse and sustainable tourism opportunities within the state’s hinterlands.
The activity effectively spotlighted that Goa offers much more than its famous beaches. Accompanying the Minister were also Deputy Director Tourism, Kuldeep Arolkar, OSD to Minister (Tourism), Shawn Mendes, OSD to Minister (IT), Neville Noronha, Deputy General Manager & PRO, Deepak Narvekar and other government officials explored nature trails, enjoyed adventure sports like river rafting, and engaged in immersive cultural experiences, showcasing the rich diversity of the region.
