Marriott International, a leading hospitality company known for its exceptional service and unparalleled guest experiences has announced the promotion of Supratik Roy Chaudhuri to the position of Market Director of Finance for Goa and Belagavi. He will continue to work out of W Goa - the renowned luxury hotel nestled in the heart of North Goa. He will report directly to Sanjay Malhotra, Senior Area Director of Finance - South Asia, and W Goa’s General Manager Tanveer Kwatra.
In his new role, Chaudhuri will oversee the financial operations of all Marriott properties in the vibrant regions of Goa and Belagavi. With his extensive expertise in finance, skills of managing and developing people and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, he is well-equipped to lead the financial strategies and initiatives that will drive the success of Marriott's operations in these markets.
Chaudhuri is a finance professional with 19 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting. He has worked with the Oberoi Hotels Resorts and Palaces, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and Ginger Hotels before joining Marriott International. With a successful track record, he has worked in various positions in finance across Marriott brands such as Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments, Mumbai, Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram Downtown, The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel and as Director of Finance with W Goa.
Chaudhuri is also known to be a pre-opening specialist, having successfully opened seven hotels (three Luxury, two Premium and two Select Service hotels) in the last few years including the conversion of The Leela Goa to St Regis Goa. He was awarded the Finance Leader of the Year - South Asia by Marriott International in 2021.
