HRAWI Organizes FSSAI’s Advanced FoSTaC Training for Hospitality Professionals in Mumbai

The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) hosted FSSAI’s Advanced Food Safety Supervisor Training in Catering (FoSTaC) on April 16, 2025, at The Leela Mumbai – Resort Style Business Hotel. The session trained 34 hospitality professionals in critical areas such as food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and sustainable waste management. Conducted by Dr. Pasupathy V. from Parikshan, the training was supported by The Leela Mumbai’s leadership team, including department heads from engineering, culinary, housekeeping, sales, and human resources. With this program, HRAWI has now certified a total of 3,446 professionals under its FoSTaC initiatives, underscoring its commitment to raising food safety standards and aligning industry practices with national regulations and international benchmarks.
