HRAWI to Host 6th Conclave & Awards in Mahabaleshwar on Feb 26

Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) (HRAWI) will convene its 6th Conclave & Awards for Empowering Hospitality on February 26 at Ramsukh Resorts & Spa, bringing together hotel owners, restaurateurs, operators, suppliers and sector experts for focused discussions on governance, compliance and technology-led growth.

The annual platform is positioned as a high-impact knowledge and recognition forum, with this year’s edition centred on capability-building, DPDP compliance readiness, AI adoption and operational excellence in hospitality businesses.

The conclave will open with remarks by Pralhad Rathi, President, Mahabaleshwar Hotel Restaurant Association, followed by a welcome address from Jimmy Shaw, President, HRAWI. Javed Sunesara, President, Panchgani Hotels and Welfare Association, will deliver a special address. The Chief Guest for the event is Jayasinh Mariwala, Chairman, Autohangar India Pvt Ltd.

Industry partners supporting the event include Ernst & Young, Ingram Micro and Ramsukh Resorts & Spa.

Sessions will cover the DPDP Act and information security compliance, application of Artificial Intelligence in hospitality operations and marketing, and food safety and pest control best practices. Speakers include Abhijit Parab, Partner – Cybersecurity, Ernst & Young; Rajesh Chopra, Head – Hospitality Business Vertical, Ingram Micro India; Dr V Pasupathy, Director, Parikshan; and Jitendra Gawade, Key Accountant, ENVU.

Alongside knowledge sessions, the HRAWI Awards will recognise excellence across service, innovation, safety and sustainability within the hospitality sector.

The conclave comes at a time when regulatory compliance, digital transformation and operational efficiency are emerging as key priorities for hospitality businesses across Western India.
