IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Hulkul Hotels LLP to develop Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru Lalbagh Road, set to open in Q1 2026. The 100-key hotel will strengthen IHG’s footprint in India’s Silicon Valley, catering to the city’s growing business and leisure travel demand.
Strategically located in Bengaluru’s Central Business District (CBD), the hotel will offer modern accommodations, an all-day dining venue, a fitness center, a business center, and meeting facilities. As one of the fastest-growing cities in India, Bengaluru’s strong IT industry, Fortune 500 companies, and startup ecosystem make it a prime market for IHG.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, highlighted Bengaluru’s importance as a key business hub and expressed confidence that the new hotel will enhance travel options in the city. Mr. Sudeep Sathyanarayana from Hulkul Hotels LLP added that the partnership with IHG aims to create a world-class hospitality experience.
With this addition, Holiday Inn Express now has five properties in Bengaluru, reinforcing IHG’s expansion in India, where the company currently operates 46 hotels across multiple brands and has a pipeline of 58 upcoming properties.
