IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Peachery LLP to open Holiday Inn Ujjain in 2028. This move aligns with IHG’s strategy to expand in high-growth secondary markets across India. Ujjain, a major Hindu pilgrimage city and home to the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple, also hosts the Kumbh Mela, making it a key destination for spiritual and wedding tourism.

Holiday Inn Ujjain will offer 100 rooms, including 10 suites, along with various dining options, a banquet hall, and meeting venues. The hotel will cater to both spiritual travelers and those seeking destination weddings in the culturally rich city.
