
IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, has announced the signing of a management agreement with Kevit Retreats Private Limited to develop a new Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2028, this new property marks another step in IHG’s strategy to expand its footprint in India’s high-growth secondary markets, especially in industrial and commercial zones.
Located within the rapidly growing Indore Metropolitan Region, the upcoming Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pithampur will be strategically positioned in a mixed-use development comprising industrial, logistics, and warehousing facilities. The 150-room hotel will cater primarily to business travelers visiting the region’s thriving automotive and pharmaceutical clusters. With well-designed guest rooms, two dining options, modern meeting spaces, a fitness center, and ample parking, the hotel is expected to provide smart, comfortable, and efficient stays for purpose-driven travelers.
Holiday Inn Express, IHG’s largest and fastest-growing brand globally with over 3,200 hotels, is known for offering simplified services and modern design at excellent value. The brand’s Generation 5 concept, focused on flexibility and guest convenience, will be introduced at the Pithampur property to enhance the overall guest experience.

IHG currently operates 48 hotels across six brands in India Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express and maintains a strong development pipeline of 63 more hotels expected to open within the next three to five years. The addition of the Pithampur property reinforces IHG’s focus on sustainable growth and strengthening its presence in India’s emerging business destinations.
