IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in hospitality, has signed a management agreement with Haware Engineers & Builders to introduce Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pen Mumbai Goa Highway, strengthening its presence in Maharashtra. Slated to open in Q1 2028, the 126-room hotel will cater to the rising demand for quality accommodations in the state’s thriving industrial corridors.
Strategically located in Pen, Raigad district, a key industrial hub near the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), the new hotel will offer modern amenities, including well-appointed rooms, a dining venue, banquet facilities, meeting spaces, and a fitness center—ideal for business travelers.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, stated, “We’re excited to bring Holiday Inn Express to Pen, delivering smart, efficient stays in a high-growth market. This expansion aligns with our strategy to strengthen our footprint in emerging industrial destinations.”
Mrs. Ujjwala Haware, Chairperson of Haware’s Lotus Hotels, added, “Partnering with IHG allows us to combine global hospitality expertise with local insights, creating a world-class experience for travelers in Pen’s fast-developing business landscape.”
