IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Sakthi Elegant Towers India Pvt Ltd to develop Holiday Inn Chennai Vandalur, set to open in 2026. The new 200-room hotel will strengthen IHG’s presence in South India and cater to growing market demand.
Located near Chennai International Airport and major industrial hubs, the hotel will feature the brand’s signature Open Lobby design, offering flexible spaces for guests to connect and relax. Holiday Inn Chennai Vandalur will join IHG’s portfolio of 58 Holiday Inn properties across South West Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, noting Chennai’s robust economic growth and its status as a key destination for business and leisure travelers. “This hotel marks IHG’s fifth and third Holiday Inn in the city, meeting the rising demand for world-class hospitality.”
