IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has announced the signing of a management agreement with Hotel Chetan International to develop two new properties in Bengaluru’s KIADB Aerospace Park. The development will include Crowne Plaza Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park in the premium segment and Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park from the essentials collection, collectively adding more than 420 rooms to IHG’s growing portfolio in India. Both hotels are scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2028.
Strategically located within Bengaluru’s largest industrial and aerospace hub and close to Kempegowda International Airport, the hotels are expected to attract demand from global aerospace and technology companies, GCCs, and corporates operating in the area. Their proximity to the upcoming BCCI Centre of Excellence and National Cricket Academy, along with nearby residential and commercial hubs, also positions them to benefit from growing demand in the leisure, social, and MICE segments.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, expressed confidence in the project, highlighting Bengaluru as one of India’s most dynamic markets. He emphasized that the combination of Crowne Plaza’s premium offerings and Holiday Inn Express’s smart, convenient stays will cater to a wide spectrum of travellers. Echoing this optimism, HC Byregowda, Managing Partner of Hotel Chetan International, noted that the partnership with IHG, backed by its global systems and IHG One Rewards loyalty programme, will ensure high-quality experiences for both domestic and international guests.
The 210-key Crowne Plaza Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park will feature four dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge, and a pool bar. It will also offer four meeting venues with a ballroom for conferences, weddings, and social gatherings, along with dedicated retail spaces and ample parking. The Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park will complement the development by providing efficient, smart, and affordable accommodation tailored to business and short-stay travellers.
