IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with So Hotels LLP to develop InterContinental Kasauli, a 130-key luxury resort set to open in Q1 2029. This development marks the debut of the iconic InterContinental brand in Kasauli, a prominent hill station in Himachal Pradesh, enhancing the region’s appeal as a high-end leisure and MICE destination in North India.
Perched in the scenic Shivalik hills, InterContinental Kasauli will offer panoramic Himalayan views, positioning itself as a prime retreat for luxury travellers, wedding destinations, and corporate events. Its proximity to major cities such as Chandigarh and Shimla makes it easily accessible for both domestic and international guests.

InterContinental Kasauli is part of IHG’s broader strategy to expand its luxury footprint in India. With the Holiday Inn Resort Kasauli also under development, the region is poised to become a premier destination for leisure tourism and upscale hospitality in Northern India.
