The India International Travel Mart (IITM), one of the country’s longest-running travel trade shows, is set to return to Pune (27–29 November 2025) and Hyderabad (4–6 December 2025), promising to bring together leading players from the global and domestic tourism ecosystem.
Now in its 26th year, IITM has established itself as India’s biggest travel networking platform, connecting tourism boards, hospitality brands, destination management companies, technology providers and other stakeholders. The two upcoming editions will host hosted buyers, travel trade professionals and industry experts across three days of exhibitions, workshops and business interactions.
“IITM has become a landmark event in India’s tourism calendar,” said Sanjay Hakhu, Director, Sphere Travelmedia & Exhibitions. “By creating direct engagement between destinations, travel brands and buyers, the mart not only showcases emerging opportunities but also acts as a catalyst for collaboration and new partnerships.”
Adding to this, Rohit Hangal, Director, Sphere Travelmedia & Exhibitions, noted: “With Pune and Hyderabad being among India’s fastest growing travel markets, these editions give us an opportunity to bring together stakeholders, promote new destinations and build stronger networks for the industry.”
Why IITM Stands Out
Legacy: Over 200 editions across Indian cities.
B2B Focus: A trusted platform for product launches, destination promotion and business partnerships.
Diverse Showcase: Dedicated pavilions for domestic and international tourism boards, luxury travel, experiential tourism, technology and sustainable travel.
City Advantage: Pune & Hyderabad
Pune, often called the “Oxford of the East”, is today a major hub for education, IT, automobile and manufacturing industries. With a rising affluent workforce, cultural heritage and proximity to hill stations, it has become a strong market for leisure and MICE tourism. Hyderabad, on the other hand, continues to be one of India’s fastest growing metropolitan regions, combining IT dominance with a growing reputation for heritage tourism and business travel.
By staging back-to-back shows in these high-growth cities, IITM is reinforcing its role as a catalyst for India’s booming tourism sector, offering unmatched networking opportunities for domestic and international participants alike.
