IndiGo has announced an array of new flights and route resumptions for its winter schedule, aimed at enhancing connectivity across East and North-East India. The new routes include exclusive tri-weekly flights between Agartala and Dibrugarh, as well as new daily direct flights connecting Guwahati to Dimapur and resuming the Guwahati-Ahmedabad route. Additionally, IndiGo will increase service on its Kolkata-Bangkok route, offering four weekly flights.
Starting on October 29, 2024, IndiGo will launch direct flights between Agartala and Dibrugarh, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. On December 10, 2024, the airline will begin daily flights between Guwahati and Dimapur, alongside the resumption of the Guwahati-Ahmedabad service. The frequency increase on the Kolkata-Bangkok route will commence on November 24, 2024, with flights available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
This winter schedule expansion marks IndiGo’s inaugural direct flight connection between Agartala and Dibrugarh, boosting domestic connectivity and catering to both business and leisure travelers in the region. IndiGo’s new routes aim to support regional trade, commerce, and tourism, creating broader economic opportunities across East and North-East India.
