ITA Airways has announced that it will resume flights between Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport and Rome Fiumicino Airport beginning on September 5th. The airline will initially operate a daily daytime service with the following schedule: Flight AZ807 will depart from Tel Aviv at 2:30 p.m. local time, arriving in Rome at 5:15 p.m. local time. The return flight, AZ806, will depart from Rome at 9:10 a.m. local time and arrive in Tel Aviv at 1:30 p.m. local time.
In addition to the daytime flights, ITA Airways will also resume nighttime flights starting October 1st. The nighttime service includes Flight AZ809 from Tel Aviv to Rome and Flight AZ810 from Rome to Tel Aviv, both of which will remain suspended until September 30th.
The airline has stated that it will continue to monitor geopolitical developments in the Middle East closely and will assess any potential impact on its operations.
