“Jazeera Airways Appoints New CEO to Steer Airline’s Future Growth”

Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s prominent low-cost carrier, has announced the departure of its current Chief Executive Officer, Rohit Ramachandran, who has served the organization for over seven successful years.

Barathan Pasupathi (Bara), formerly the CFO of Jazeera Airways, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective March 26, 2024. With over 30 years of experience in aviation, oil and gas, and supply chain management, Bara brings extensive expertise in various aspects of the aviation industry, including finance, management, operations, aircraft procurement, and leasing.

Commenting on this management transition, Marwan Boodai, Chairman of Jazeera Airways, praised Rohit’s leadership, vision, and dedication to the brand and its people. During Rohit’s tenure, Jazeera Airways achieved significant milestones, including tripling its fleet, expanding to 65 destinations, and achieving record passenger volumes. Additionally, Rohit played a crucial role in guiding the airline through the challenges posed by the pandemic, ensuring its resilience and positioning it for future success.

Boodai expressed gratitude to Rohit for his exceptional contributions to Jazeera Airways and welcomed Bara as his successor. Bara’s previous experience as Jazeera Airways’ CFO and his leadership roles in various aviation companies, including Jetstar Asia, equip him with the necessary skills to lead Jazeera Airways into its next phase of growth.

Bara’s appointment ensures continuity and strong leadership for Jazeera Airways as it continues its journey of expansion and development in the aviation industry.
