JW Marriott Phu Quoc Redefines MICE with Experiential ‘Campus’ Concept

JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa is positioning itself as a differentiated MICE destination, combining large-scale meeting infrastructure with a unique experiential design concept on Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island.

Designed by renowned architect Bill Bensley, the resort is themed as a fictional 19th-century French university, transforming traditional meetings into immersive, campus-style experiences.

Located along Emerald Bay, the property benefits from Phu Quoc’s year-round tropical climate, visa-free access and growing connectivity, making it increasingly attractive for international MICE groups.

The resort offers over 1,400 sqm of flexible meeting space across six venues, including the Lamarck Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 600 guests, along with five breakout rooms for smaller sessions.

By combining large-format event capabilities with a distinctive design narrative, the resort aims to cater to the evolving demand for experiential meetings and incentive travel.
