The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) has launched a large-scale Regional
Market Expansion Campaign through a series of Destination Promotion B2B
Roadshows, aimed at strengthening Karnataka’s position as a leading tourism
destination for the upcoming travel season.
The initiative is being organised in partnership with the Department of Tourism,
Government of Karnataka, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India,
KSTDC, Jungle Lodges & Resorts (JLR) and SIHRA.
As part of the campaign, curated B2B roadshows will take place across key South
Indian cities in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, highlighting Karnataka’s cultural heritage,
hill stations, wildlife reserves, natural attractions and adventure tourism offerings.
The roadshow series begins in Coimbatore on 25 November 2025, followed by
Cochin (26th), Madurai (27th) and concludes in Salem (28th).
A strong delegation of 42 Karnataka tourism stakeholders will participate, with
expected buyer turnouts of 150 in Coimbatore, 200 in Cochin, 120 in Madurai and
100 in Salem.
The campaign will showcase Karnataka’s diverse tourism products to the regional
travel trade, strengthening interstate partnerships and boosting visitor flows for the
season ahead.
