
A delegation from the Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra, led by President Rakesh Wazir and Chairman Shyam Lal Kesar, met with J&K Chief Secretary Atul Dulloo to deliberate on key tourism concerns, particularly strategies to increase the stay duration of the 10 million (one crore) pilgrims visiting the Union Territory.
The meeting was also attended by Commissioner Secretary Tourism Yasha Mudgal, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, Secretary Roads & Buildings Bhupinder Kumar, Director Tourism Jammu Vikas Gupta, and other senior officials. Senior Vice President Virender Kesar, Shiv Thakur Magotra, and other association members were part of the delegation. The discussion focused on enhancing infrastructure and tourism offerings to encourage longer pilgrim stays and overall tourism development in the region.
