LaRiSa Hotels and Resorts has announced the signing of its fifth property in Uttarakhand with the launch of LaRiSa Homes X 1 Partridge Hill in Satoli, near Mukteshwar. The development also marks the addition of a fourth asset under the company’s LaRiSa Homes brand, which focuses on intimate luxury villas and homestays in offbeat destinations.
The hospitality group already operates Amaraya by LaRiSa in Gaggar-Ramgarh, LaRiSa Resort in Mussoorie, LaRiSa Homes X Mountains & Martini in New Tehri, and 8fold-Pinecrest by LaRiSa in Bhimtal. With this new addition, the brand is consolidating its presence in the Kumaon region, positioning itself as a growing player in boutique and sustainable tourism.
Set on a quiet ridge in the village of Satoli, LaRiSa Homes X 1 Partridge Hill is a four-bedroom luxury retreat offering panoramic views of the Nanda Devi and Trishul ranges. Each room is individually styled with private sit-outs and interiors inspired by local birdlife, reflected in the property’s décor and artwork. Guests can expect a close-to-nature experience, from mornings filled with birdsong to evenings under starry Himalayan skies.
The property has been designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating solar energy, rainwater harvesting, composting, and menus based on locally sourced produce. Meals are prepared in-house, featuring a rotating spread of Kumaoni delicacies, Indian staples, and global comfort food, served indoors or outdoors with the mountains as a backdrop.
Signature offerings at the homestay include riverside picnics, forest walks, stargazing, and cozy evenings by the fireplace. Satoli’s location also allows access to nearby destinations such as Mukteshwar, Almora, Binsar, Sitla, and Jageshwar. The property is around 350 km from Delhi an eight-hour drive while the closest airport is Pantnagar (100 km, 3.5 hours) and the nearest railway station is Kathgodam (72 km, 2.5 hours).
With LaRiSa Homes X 1 Partridge Hill, LaRiSa Hotels and Resorts continues to expand its vision of “conscious luxury,” combining comfort with sustainable practices while promoting Uttarakhand as a premier destination for experiential travel.
