Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board interacts with top trade partners at the 10th Brand USA India Mission

Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board participated in the 10th Brand USA India Mission held in Goa from the 21st to the 25th January 2024.

The team from LA Tourism included members of the India Office – Seema Kadam, Regional Director and Lakshmi Hariharan, Manager, Global Communications.

The team interacted with top trade partners from across the country and highlighted new and upcoming developments in Los Angeles. The biggest highlight of 2024 is IPW which will be taking place in LA. As the celebrations conclude with the Hollywood centennial anniversary in 2023, the city is all set to come together to celebrate other monumental events in 2024 like the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Studios, 20th anniversary of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the 90th Anniversary of the Original Farmer’s Market – a heritage street style market place in LA.

“This year is truly special for LA as we gear up to welcome guests for IPW 2024. The city has so much to showcase with new museums, the opening of Destination Crenshaw – a $100mn outdoor art and culture experience and various sporting events in the pipeline including FIFA in 2026 and the Olympic and Paralympic games in 2028. India is the number 1 emerging market for LA and we cannot wait to welcome guests with our diverse offerings,” said Seema Kadam, Regional Director, India, Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board 

Los Angeles is an ever-evolving city full of fresh concepts and endless things to discover.
