Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Partners with Finland’s VReal to Revolutionize Digital Travel

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Finland’s VReal, a leading innovator in immersive virtual reality (VR) tourism, to digitally showcase the state’s cultural and historical heritage to a global audience. The MoU was formalized by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Finland’s Ambassador to India, Mr. Kimmo Lähdevirta.

Led by CEO Johannes Söderström, VReal specializes in high-definition 360° virtual tours and interactive digital storytelling. Through this partnership, travelers worldwide can explore Madhya Pradesh’s iconic landmarks, temples, wildlife sanctuaries, and UNESCO heritage sites from anywhere, with live expert-led guided sessions enhancing the experience.

During their visit, the Finnish delegation explored the Tribal Museum, Bhimbetka rock shelters, and the UNESCO-listed Sanchi Stupa, experiencing the state’s rich history firsthand.
