Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj is set to captivate millions of pilgrims and visitors with a spectacular drone light show, blending modern technology with ancient traditions. From January 13 to February 26, 2025, the skies above the Sangam area will come alive with 2,000 illuminated drones narrating the mythological tales of Mahakumbh, such as the Samudra Manthan and the emergence of the Amrit Kalash. This first-ever drone show organized by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department promises to be the highlight of the world’s largest religious gathering, enhancing the spiritual and cultural atmosphere. The show, part of the festival’s opening and closing ceremonies, will depict the sacred stories of “Prayag Mahatmyam,” offering a unique visual spectacle for pilgrims and tourists.
