Maharashtra has inaugurated its first-ever glass bridge over the picturesque Napne Waterfall near Vaibhavwadi in Sindhudurg district, marking a significant milestone for the state’s eco-tourism sector. Developed under the Sindhuratna tourism initiative at a cost of INR 99.63 lakh, the transparent skywalk located conveniently near Nadhavade village on the Kolhapur-Tarle National Highway offers visitors thrilling views directly over the cascading falls and lush forests. Designed with safety in mind, the bridge provides an exhilarating, secure platform for adventure seekers and nature lovers to enjoy panoramic vistas, capture memorable photos, and experience the sensation of walking above the waterfall. Announced by Maharashtra Tourism Minister Nitesh Rane, this iconic structure is poised to become a major attraction, enhancing Sindhudurg’s reputation as a premier destination for both eco-adventures and leisure tourism.
