Malaysia Airlines and Firefly have been appointed as the official airline partners for TRAVEX, the business platform of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2025. The event, scheduled from January 15 to 18, 2025, will take place at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Malaysia.
Both airlines will offer seamless travel solutions to delegates, including buyers, media representatives, and government officials, with extensive connectivity across domestic and international routes, ensuring convenient access to Johor. This collaboration emphasizes promoting ASEAN as a unified travel destination while showcasing Malaysia Airlines’ renowned hospitality and Firefly’s regional connectivity.
Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group, highlighted the airlines’ commitment to enhancing ASEAN connectivity and providing exceptional travel experiences. Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, described ATF 2025 as a platform to shape ASEAN’s sustainable tourism future and showcase the region’s cultural and natural diversity.
Under the theme “UNITY IN MOTION: SHAPING ASEAN’S TOURISM TOMORROW,” the forum will unite leaders to drive sustainable tourism and digital transformation.
