Manglam Group has formally entered the hospitality sector with the launch of The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa, its first hospitality project and a super-luxury resort that also marks Marriott International’s 200th property in India. The opening positions Jaipur more strongly as a destination for luxury leisure, business travel and large-format social and corporate events.
The project is the first under Manglam Spa and Resorts, the Group’s dedicated hospitality arm, and forms part of its ₹1,000 crore hospitality investment plan. Developed with an investment of around ₹300 crore, the Westin Jaipur serves as the anchor asset for Manglam’s hospitality expansion strategy.
Located at Kant Kalwar, at the foothills of the Aravalli range, the resort is spread across 9 acres and features 135 rooms along with seven event and meeting venues. The property blends Balinese-inspired architecture with locally sourced materials and sustainability-focused design, integrating wellness-oriented spaces, landscaped gardens, water features and environmentally sensitive planning.
Commenting on the launch, N K Gupta, Chairman, Manglam Group, said the Group’s entry into hospitality is a natural progression after its long-standing presence in real estate. He noted that the Westin Jaipur not only strengthens Manglam’s portfolio but also represents a significant milestone as Marriott International’s 200th hotel in the country.
Wellness is central to the guest experience, aligned with The Westin brand’s Six Pillars of Well-Being. Facilities include the WestinWORKOUT® Studio, outdoor activity zones, jogging and cycling tracks, and the Heavenly Spa by Westin. The resort also offers multiple dining options spanning all-day dining, Indian cuisine and lounge formats.
Amrita Gupta, Director, Manglam Group and CEO, Manglam Spa and Resorts, said the opening marks the beginning of Manglam’s long-term hospitality vision, with several premium and super-luxury projects already in the pipeline aimed at global standards of design, wellbeing and service delivery.
Manglam’s hospitality roadmap extends beyond The Westin Jaipur. The Group is currently developing over 200 serviced apart’otel units under the Fern Habitat brand at Pinkwalk, Jagatpura, and has two additional hospitality projects in advanced planning stages, including a resort-led concept and an urban hotel, targeting both leisure and business segments.
