Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel platform, has entered into a strategic global partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC), under which it has been appointed the Official Accommodation Partner for ICC events through to 2029.
The multi-year agreement covers all major ICC Men’s tournaments over the next four years, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 (India & Sri Lanka), ICC World Test Championship Finals 2027 and 2029 (UK), ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 (South Africa, Zimbabwe & Namibia), ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 (Australia & New Zealand) and the ICC Champions Trophy 2029 in India.
With cricket commanding a global fan base of over two billion followers, the partnership positions Marriott Bonvoy at the intersection of sport, travel and experiential hospitality. Marriott International currently operates over 450 hotels across markets hosting ICC events, enabling it to cater to teams, officials and travelling fans through its global portfolio.
Under the partnership, fans attending ICC events will be able to access Marriott Bonvoy hotels worldwide, including official travel packages offered in collaboration with ICC Travel and Tours. The alliance also opens the door to exclusive hospitality experiences, curated fan engagements and bespoke on-ground activations at select ICC venues.
Marriott Bonvoy and the ICC will jointly design premium hospitality concepts, create cricket-centric content and roll out local activations to drive deeper fan engagement, particularly in key cricketing markets such as India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
The ICC leadership said the partnership aligns with its vision of elevating the overall fan experience beyond the match, integrating travel, culture and lifestyle into cricket’s biggest global events, while reinforcing long-term collaborations with trusted international brands.
The collaboration marks a significant step in transforming how global sporting events integrate hospitality, travel and fan experiences, strengthening cricket’s appeal as a truly international cultural phenomenon.
