Marriott International has signed an agreement with The Balwa Group to introduce the iconic Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts brand to 6. Mumbai. Slated to open in January 2029, Le Méridien Mumbai International Airport will offer a stylish and culturally immersive stay experience just two kilometers from Mumbai’s international gateway.
Blending the brand’s mid-century modern aesthetics with Mumbai’s vibrant spirit, the new property is designed to cater to today’s discerning global travelers. Featuring 161 contemporary guest rooms and suites, the hotel will serve as a cultural hub with curated culinary offerings, including a specialty restaurant, patisserie, and the brand’s signature Le Méridien Hub — a modern reimagining of the traditional hotel lobby that transforms from a coffee bar by day to a cocktail venue by night through its Latitude/Longitude Bar.

The property will also feature extensive recreational amenities, including a fitness center, an open-air swimming pool, a spa, and over 1,350 square meters of indoor and outdoor banquet space—ideal for events, weddings, and business gatherings.
