Marriott Opens Dual-Branded Hotel Complex in Amritsar

Marriott International has expanded its footprint in Punjab with the launch of a dual-branded hotel complex on Amritsar’s Mall Road, combining Marriott Executive Apartments Amritsar and Four Points by Sheraton Amritsar under one address. The integrated property brings two distinct hospitality offerings together with a shared grand entrance, common lobby and seamless access to dining, wellness and event facilities.

Strategically located 11 km from Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport and just 2.3 km from Amritsar Junction, the complex offers quick access to the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Museum and Durgiana Temple, positioning it as a convenient base for both business and leisure travellers.

Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President – South Asia, Marriott International, said the opening reflects the company’s focus on high-growth leisure markets. “Travellers today seek choice, consistency and flexibility. This dual-brand launch strengthens our commitment to offering diverse options across India,” he said.

Marriott Executive Apartments Amritsar features 59 upscale units, including studio, one-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment. Each unit is designed for extended stays with separate living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchenette, in-room washer and dryer, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

Four Points by Sheraton Amritsar, Mall Road offers 124 contemporary rooms overlooking the bustling Mall Road. Guests can enjoy the brand’s signature Best Brews™ selection, integrated USB ports, and high-speed internet aimed at delivering functional, uncomplicated comfort.

The U-shaped complex also brings a strong culinary line-up: Kitchen 1574, inspired by the year Amritsar was founded; Tan Chi, offering modern Pan-Asian dishes; The Oak Bar for crafted cocktails; and a bright Lobby Lounge with grab-and-go options for travellers in transit. Wellness facilities include an outdoor pool and a fully equipped fitness centre.

For events and celebrations, the property offers more than 12,900 sq. ft. of flexible space, headlined by a 6,000-sq. ft. pillarless Grand Ballroom.

Gaurav Sekhri, General Manager of the dual property, said the combination of two distinct brands enables them to serve both short- and long-stay guests. “Amritsar attracts pilgrims, families, business travellers and food explorers. Our aim is to deliver stays that feel rooted in the city’s spirit and hospitality,” he added.
