Meet Boston Enters India Market, Appoints Sartha Global Marketing

Meet Boston, the official tourism marketing organisation for Boston and Cambridge, has appointed Sartha Global Marketing as its India representative, marking its formal entry into the Indian market.

The partnership aims to strengthen Boston’s visibility among Indian travellers through focused public relations, travel trade engagement, and marketing initiatives. With India emerging as a high-growth outbound market, the move signals Boston’s strategic push to attract more visitors from the country.

In 2024, Boston recorded around 106,000 visitors from India, making it its third-largest international market. These travellers contributed approximately $165 million to the local tourism economy, highlighting India’s growing importance for the destination.

With dedicated on-ground representation, Meet Boston now plans to build stronger industry relationships and position the city as a year-round destination, leveraging its mix of history, culture, education, and upcoming global events like the FIFA World Cup 2026.
