Russia’s capital has unveiled “Moscow 2030. The Home of the Future”, a citywide forum running from August 1 to September 14 across 11 venues with more than 1,000 events. The program showcases how Moscow is blending tradition with innovation to create a modern, people-friendly metropolis.
The forum focuses on the “person of the future”, offering visitors everything from AI-powered city services, robotics workshops, and smart city simulations to fashion shows, digital theatre, and classical concerts. Highlights include the “Cloud Cities” tech showcase at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, cultural performances at Zaryadye Park near the Kremlin, digital economy quests at Muzeon Arts Park, phygital games at Luzhniki Olympic Complex, a futuristic music festival at MosKino Film Studios, and international drone forums at Skolkovo Innovation Center.
Part of the Summer in Moscow initiative, the festival underscores the city’s growing appeal to Indian travelers. In 2024, Moscow welcomed 85,800 visitors from India—a 40% rise from 2023 driven by its cultural attractions, modern infrastructure, and family-friendly experiences.
Travel has become easier with Russia’s simplified e-visa system, introduced in August 2023. Indian citizens can now apply online and receive their visa within four days, boosting arrivals for leisure, business, and educational visits.
With Moscow 2030. The Home of the Future, the Russian capital is inviting Indian tourists to witness how innovation, culture, and tradition come together to shape the city of tomorrow.
