Nok Air Resumes Direct Flights from Mumbai and Hyderabad to Bangkok, Boosting India-Thailand Travel Connectivity

Thai low-cost carrier Nok Air has announced the much-anticipated resumption of its direct flights from Mumbai and Hyderabad to Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok, starting October 26, 2025. The airline will operate daily flights from Mumbai, with Flight DD939 departing at 02:10 hrs and arriving in Bangkok at 08:05 hrs, and the return service DD938 leaving Bangkok at 22:10 hrs to reach Mumbai by 01:10 hrs the next day. From Hyderabad, Nok Air will offer four weekly flights—Flight DD959 departing at 00:45 hrs and arriving in Bangkok at 06:05 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The return flight DD958 will leave Bangkok at 21:30 hrs and land in Hyderabad at 23:45 hrs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

The reinstatement of these routes marks a pivotal development in Nok Air’s renewed focus on the Indian market following a temporary summer suspension. Ramesh Marwah, Director of DEX Group, emphasized the value this relaunch brings to Indian leisure travelers and holidaymakers, highlighting collaborative efforts with trade partners, OTAs, and industry bodies such as TAAI, TAFI, and OTOAI to boost awareness and bookings. He further pointed out significant potential in niche travel segments including MICE, wedding, and golf tourism from India to Thailand.

This strategic relaunch aligns perfectly with the onset of the winter travel season, substantially enhancing travel options for Indian tourists seeking cultural experiences, wellness retreats, and exploration of iconic Thai destinations like Phuket, Chiang Mai, Krabi, and Chiang Rai. Passengers can conveniently plan onwards journeys through Nok Air’s comprehensive domestic network from Bangkok, making these destinations easily accessible.

With reinstated direct connectivity and competitive schedules, Nok Air’s India-Thailand operations are set to stimulate tourism, promote bilateral travel, and strengthen the vibrant ties between the two countries.
