NueGo, India’s premier electric intercity bus service by GreenCell Mobility, has taken a major step forward in promoting green travel by expanding its all-electric bus routes across North, South, and Central India. With this move, NueGo strengthens its commitment to zero-emission, sustainable, and comfortable intercity mobility, offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional diesel-based bus services.
The brand’s latest expansion introduces several new routes connecting key cities such as Delhi, Lucknow, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Madurai, Haldwani, Jaipur, Hisar, Hyderabad, Kurnool, Indore, and Mysore. Notably, the launch of the Delhi-Lucknow route, covering approximately 10 hours, marks the country’s longest fully electric intercity bus journey—setting a new benchmark for long-distance electric vehicle (EV) transportation in India.
NueGo’s fleet now includes over 300 electric buses that are 100% zero-emission, offering passengers a safe, timely, and premium travel experience. In a major innovation, the company has introduced India’s first electric AC sleeper buses, elevating comfort for overnight journeys. These state-of-the-art vehicles come equipped with fast-charging technology, a range of over 500 km per charge, and smart features such as AI-powered booking systems, real-time GPS tracking, and onboard Wi-Fi.
Some of the newly introduced intercity EV routes include Amritsar–Delhi, Bengaluru–Davanagere, Harihar and Madurai, Chennai–Madurai and Salem, Delhi–Bareilly, Haldwani and Sirsa, Guntur–Visakhapatnam, Gurugram–Haldwani, Jaipur–Kota, Delhi–Hisar, Amritsar–Jammu, Indore–Ratlam, Hyderabad–Kurnool, and Bangalore–Mysore. These additions not only improve regional connectivity but also support India’s larger vision of sustainable transport infrastructure.
