Oceania Cruises Expands Culinary Discovery Tours with 12 New Chef-Led Gourmet Excursions for 2025

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, has expanded its renowned Culinary Discovery Tours™, adding 12 new immersive experiences for 2025. These chef-led excursions span across Europe, Asia, and North America, offering guests exclusive hands-on culinary adventures in destinations like Amsterdam, Belfast, Valencia, Kobe, Busan, Halifax, and more.

With these additions, Oceania Cruises now offers 46 Culinary Discovery Tours across its four larger ships—Marina™, Riviera™, Vista™, and the new Allura™ debuting in July 2025. Each small-group tour, limited to 18 guests, goes beyond traditional sightseeing by providing exclusive access to local markets, gourmet restaurants, and hands-on cooking sessions both onboard and ashore.

Highlights include foraging for wild herbs on Belfast’s rugged coast, witnessing traditional knife-making in Kobe before a teppanyaki feast, crafting authentic paella in Valencia’s rice fields, and exploring South Korea’s famed seafood markets. The tours, led by expert Chef Instructors, are part of Oceania’s food-focused enrichment program, which includes The Culinary Center, the first-ever hands-on cooking school at sea.

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, emphasized the brand’s commitment to offering deeper cultural connections through food. Chef Kathryn Kelly, Director of Culinary Enrichment, noted that these tours allow guests to bring home not just memories but also new culinary skills and recipes.

Oceania Cruises continues to redefine epicurean travel experiences, allowing food lovers to explore global cultures through authentic flavors and expert-led culinary adventures.
