Oceania Cruises Unveils Revamped Grand Dining Room Menus Aboard Upcoming Ship Allura

Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line, has announced a major revamp of its Grand Dining Room menus, set to debut aboard its newest ship, Allura, launching in July 2025. The redesigned menus introduce over 270 new recipes across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring refined flavors, modern techniques, and elegant presentations.

The Grand Dining Room, present on all eight of Oceania’s small luxury ships, serves as the heart of its onboard culinary experience. Enhancements include a dedicated Signature Eggs Benedict section for breakfast and a French bistro-inspired lunch menu under the name La Brasserie. The dinner menu boasts innovative renditions of classics such as Beef Wellington with Shiraz red wine sauce and truffle mashed potatoes, as well as chermoula butter-roasted Maine lobster with risotto primavera and bisque jus.

Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises, emphasized the brand’s commitment to culinary excellence, stating, “Dining is the cornerstone of the Oceania Cruises experience, and these new menus are a testament to our culinary team’s artistry.” Chef Alexis Quaretti, who played a key role in crafting the menus, drew inspiration from his childhood, family traditions, and collaborations with renowned chef Jacques Pépin. Notable additions include Mousse au Chocolat de Mamie Huguette, made from Quaretti’s grandmother’s cherished recipe.

Breakfast offerings have been elevated with over 30 new recipes, including variations of Eggs Benedict such as Eggs Benedict Florentine and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Daily rotating specials feature dishes like zucchini waffles with smoked salmon, breakfast sliders, and Mexican burritos. At lunch, La Brasserie introduces French-inspired dishes such as Blanquette De Veau à L’Ancienne and Coq Au Vin, alongside classic American comfort foods like Oceania’s signature cheeseburger and French dip sandwich.

Dinner now includes more than 200 new recipes with a modern, globally inspired approach. Highlights include Scallop Panna Cotta with caviar, Korean BBQ beef short ribs, and a decadent seafood vol-au-vent filled with scallops, shrimp, salmon, and black mussels. The menu also features a Chef’s Recommendations section, showcasing hand-selected dishes from Chef Quaretti and his team.

Allura, the eighth ship in Oceania’s fleet and the second in the Allura Class, follows the success of Vista, which launched in 2023. Designed to offer an exceptional culinary experience, Allura features one chef for every ten guests, a range of specialty dining venues, and a highly attentive service ratio of two crew members for every three guests. Guests can also enjoy immersive shore excursions, onboard art classes, an expansive Culinary Center, and exclusive food and wine pairing experiences. With the most spacious standard staterooms at sea and a luxurious new library, Allura promises to set new standards in luxury cruising when it sets sail in July 2025.
