The PATA India Chapter, in collaboration with the Inder Sharma Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced the 4th edition of the PATA India Tourism PowerHouse, scheduled for January 8, 2026, at ITC Maurya, New Delhi.
Recognized as one of India’s premier platforms for tourism knowledge and advocacy, the Tourism PowerHouse convenes global tourism leaders, policymakers, and decision-makers from across India’s travel, hospitality, and destination sectors. The 2026 edition will focus on the theme “Accelerating Tourism for Tomorrow: Powered by Data and Knowledge,” emphasizing the need for data-driven strategies and global learning to enhance India’s destination competitiveness.
The continued support of the Inder Sharma Foundation honors the legacy of the late Inder Sharma, a visionary tourism entrepreneur whose leadership and belief in India’s tourism potential continue to inspire industry professionals. The Tourism PowerHouse embodies his vision of advancing India’s growth through knowledge, collaboration, and strategic innovation.
PATA CEO Noor Hamid and Additional Secretary & DG Tourism Suman Billa will headline the event, alongside an esteemed panel of international thought leaders including Dr. Senthil Gopinath, Prof. Haiyan Song, Alan Merschen, Olivier Ponti, Anita Mendiratta, Matt Gibson, Ludwig Rieder, and Narzalina Lim.
