The Professional Housekeepers Association (PHA) has unveiled the theme and logo for its *8th National Convention, scheduled to take place in New Delhi on *30 May 2026.
The convention will be held under the theme “Stewards of Standards – Leadership in the Art and Science of Housekeeping,” highlighting the evolving role of housekeeping professionals as key contributors to quality, hygiene, sustainability and brand standards across hospitality, healthcare, corporate and institutional sectors.
According to PHA, the theme reflects the transformation of housekeeping from a traditionally operational function into a strategic pillar within service-driven industries. Modern housekeeping professionals are increasingly involved in sustainability practices, technology adoption, staff training and operational efficiency.
The newly introduced convention logo combines the official insignia of PHA with contemporary design elements symbolising innovation and leadership. The visual identity also features a woman housekeeper holding a digital tablet to represent technology-driven operations, along with subtle motifs of New Delhi as the host city.
The 8th National Convention will bring together executive housekeepers, hospitality and healthcare leaders, facility and corporate real estate professionals, hotel management educators and industry partners. The event will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, technology showcases, skill demonstrations and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening professional standards across the sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayashree Nagaraj said the theme reflects the growing recognition of housekeeping as a leadership function within hospitality and allied service industries.
Bharti Singh Kalappa noted that the convention aims to serve as a platform to redefine the future of professional housekeeping across industries in India.
Meanwhile, Indrani Sanyal emphasised that modern housekeeping is increasingly seen as a strategic asset that influences brand trust, ESG commitments and customer experience.
Founded in 2015, the Professional Housekeepers Association works to advance professional housekeeping standards across sectors including hospitality, healthcare, aviation, retail and corporate facilities through training programmes, conventions and industry partnerships.
