Qantas Airways, Australia’s largest airline and national carrier, has unveiled its first-ever Qantas Explorer fare sale in India, in collaboration with Tourism Australia. The campaign is designed to encourage Indian travellers to explore the country’s vast natural beauty and iconic destinations, making it easier and more affordable than ever to experience Australia beyond its main gateways.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Tourism Australia on our first-ever Explorer fare sale for the Indian market,” said Nick McGlynn, Executive Vice President, Qantas.
“With two million discounted fares and direct flights from India, we’re making it easier and more affordable to discover Australia’s incredible landscapes beyond Sydney and Melbourne.”
As part of this initiative, Qantas has unlocked an additional two million discounted Explorer fares, available for booking between 27 October and 26 November 2025. The Qantas Explorer programme allows travellers who book an international Qantas flight from India to access discounted domestic fares across 45 destinations, offering savings of up to 20% off base fares (excluding taxes and fees).
The sale enables travellers to build their own multi-city Australian itinerary—from the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru to Kakadu National Park and the vineyards of South Australia—creating a truly immersive journey across the continent. Suggested itineraries and booking tools are available on qantas.com and through travel agents.

Currently, Qantas operates five weekly flights from Bengaluru to Sydney and three weekly services from Delhi to Melbourne, providing seamless connectivity for travellers. All international fares include checked baggage, in-flight meals, beverages, and entertainment.
