Qatar Airways has rolled out a revised schedule signalling a steady expansion of its global operations, with the airline aiming to serve more than 120 destinations by mid-May 2026.
The move reflects a calibrated ramp-up in connectivity as the airline continues to operate flights through dedicated corridors coordinated with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, while maintaining flexibility amid evolving operational and regulatory conditions.
As part of this expansion, Qatar Airways is set to introduce new services from 16 May, including routes to Goa, alongside key Chinese cities such as Chengdu, Hangzhou and Chongqing. The addition of Goa is particularly significant for Indian travellers, enhancing direct international access from a key leisure market and strengthening the airline’s India footprint.
The airline has advised passengers to stay updated through its official website and mobile app, noting that schedules remain subject to change. Travellers with confirmed bookings will be contacted directly with any updates, while ensuring contact details are current is being emphasised as a key requirement for seamless communication.
Reiterating its operational focus, Qatar Airways has underlined that the safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew remain its top priority, even as it navigates ongoing disruptions and scaling efforts.
Recognised as the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025, Qatar Airways’ latest schedule update underscores a measured but confident recovery strategy, with India and Asia-Pacific markets continuing to play a central role in its network expansion.
