Radisson Expands Gwalior Footprint with Third Hotel, Debuts Radisson Individuals Brand

Radisson Hotel Group has strengthened its presence in central India with the opening of Hotel Gwalior Regency, a member of its Radisson Individuals brand—marking its third property in Gwalior and eighth in Madhya Pradesh.

Strategically located just 650 metres from the railway station and around 10 km from Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Terminal, the hotel offers seamless access to both commercial hubs and key heritage attractions, reinforcing Gwalior’s dual appeal as a business and tourism destination.

The launch also marks the debut of the Radisson Individuals brand in the city, blending local character with global hospitality standards. The property features 50 rooms across Superior, Deluxe and Suite categories, alongside dining at Eat-O-Logy, with a fitness centre and spa expected to be operational by June 2026.

For events and social gatherings, the hotel offers the Darbar Ballroom with an adjoining lawn, the Mandap Ballroom, and flexible venues catering to weddings and conferences.

Nikhil Sharma, MD & COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, highlighted Gwalior’s growing strategic importance, noting that the Radisson Individuals brand enhances local identity within a global framework. Mayank Garg, Director of SB Hotels Pvt. Ltd., said the hotel will elevate the city’s hospitality infrastructure, while Cluster GM Sapnil Kalkar emphasised personalised guest experiences.

With over 200 hotels in operation and development across India—more than half in Tier II and III markets—Radisson continues to lead expansion into emerging destinations, with Gwalior emerging as a key growth node.
