Radisson Hotel Group Accelerates India Expansion with New Openings in Tier-II, Tier-III Cities and Key Leisure Destinations

Radisson Hotel Group is fast-tracking its expansion across India in 2025, announcing a robust pipeline of new hotel openings strategically designed to tap into emerging business hubs, vibrant cultural centres, and sought-after leisure destinations. Building on the recent launch of Radisson Hotel Prayagraj, the group is gearing up to open new properties at Delhi MG Road, Mount Abu, Indore, Phagwara, and Sasan Gir, reflecting confidence in both established and fast-growing markets.

Radisson’s current development focus is particularly strong on Tier-II and Tier-III cities, where travel demand for world-class hospitality is surging. So far in 2025, the group already has 10 new hotels operational, with recent additions in Gaj, Koti, Prayagraj, Jawai, Vellore, Bengaluru, Jamshedpur, Khopoli, and Kevadia. This rapid expansion strategy aims to serve a diverse mix of business, spiritual, and leisure travelers, extending international-standard stays beyond traditional metro hubs and strengthening India’s regional tourism network.

Company leaders highlight that over half of Radisson’s India portfolio is now concentrated in smaller cities and industrial centres, supporting India’s vision for balanced regional growth and increased domestic travel. The group continues to collaborate with local partners, integrate regional culture into its properties, and deliver hospitality experiences tailored for each destination. With more than 200 hotels in operation and many more in active development, Radisson Hotel Group’s 2025 expansion drive is set to deliver a new wave of premium accommodation and boost India’s journey toward becoming a leading tourism economy.
